Rangers with Strawberry Mountain in the background! (Keith Hammer photos)
Thirteen Swan Rangers skied Krause Basin on an above-zero Saturday, December 10, 2016!
And one Ranger tried a little waterskiing in Krause Creek!

In spite of frigid temperatures, Krause Creek remains high from record precipitation in October - and not snow-bridged!

But one Ranger tried it anyway . . .

. . . knowing that the Rangers wait on each other hand, foot and ski!

Hemlock alley!

A knodding hemlock top!

How did that slush get in my water bottle? I'm sure the lid was on tight!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
Everyone is welcome!
