Swan Rangers Ski Swan Refuge!

Swan River (Keith Hammer photos)
Thirteen Swan Rangers skied Bog Trail through the Swan River Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, December 14, 2013!
They saw river otter, swans, geese, hawks, ravens, and tracks of many a small rodent!

It is rumored that river otter come to the Swan River Wildlife Refuge . . .

. . . to watch people!

Though they also seem to enjoy lazing around on the "beach" . . .

. . . and dragging their bellies around in the snow!

Cattails and the Swan Range.
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
Everyone is welcome!
