Twelve Swan Rangers hiked and cleared most deadfall from the Echo-Broken Leg Trail on Saturday, November 10.

They went as far as Wolf Creek on a chilly day and enjoyed ice formations along Birch and Deer creeks as well!

Voo-ba, voo-ba, voo-ba, voo-ba, voo-ba, voo-ba!

The trail rounds Windy Point, which was thankfully calm on an already chilly day!

The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.

They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.

When hiking in bear country, remember to carry bear spray and avoid the 3-D's: dawn, dusk, and darkness.

It's a good idea to wear bright colors, if not "hunter orange," during big game rifle season Oct 20 - Nov 25.

Everyone is welcome!
