Swan Rangers went looking for snow in warm weather during their outings this past week!
Scroll down to see the rest of their photos and details!
In our lead photo, Norma Linsky found snow in Glacier Park, where . . .

. . . it is beginning to pile up a bit at lower elevations!

Chris Gotschalk found about a foot of snow, some of it groomed, near Essex, MT!

Keith Hammer forgot to bring his sand skis to Flathead Lake but does think the sun is getting a little higher above the horizon!

Keith also hopes for warm wishes, not warm winters!

Pat Jaquith found this pond full of ducks and geese . . .

. . . a White-breasted nuthatch on a Larch tree and . . .

. . . colorful Lichens on a sun-baked rock, while . . .

. . . Ruth Quist found these Lichens in a shadier spot not far from . . .

. . . this Dove!

Pam Willison got a unique perspective on some Oyster mushrooms while . . .

. . . Lynn Smith found this male House finch showing off his holiday colors!

In our parting shot, Dani Mayberry reminds us the bears still are not all in their winter dens yet!
If you have interesting photos of your outings, send them along with a description to keith@swanview.org and we'll try to work them into these weekly reports!
