Swan Rangers Focus on Flowers and Birds!
Swan River by Keith Hammer

Swan Rangers focused mostly on flowers and birds while taking photos during their outings this past week!

Scroll down for the rest of their photos and details!

In our lead photo, however, Keith Hammer steps back for a shot of the Swan River!

Keith did manage to focus in on this Beargrass and . . .

. . . lots of Lupine along the trail while . . .

. . . Norma Linsky focused on what appears to be a different kind of smaller Lupin growing on more open, wind-swept slopes . . .

. . . along with Silky Phacelia not far from . . .

. . . a beautiful lake and wetland!

Debra Schweitzer came upon these Penstemon while . . .

. . . Pat Jaquith came upon some Yellow Lady's Slippers . . .

. . . a bunch of Striped Coralroot . . .

. . . and a Western Tanager.

In our parting shot, Keith Hammer shows us a Dandelion going to seed and ready to fly the coop!

If you have interesting photos of your outings, send them along with a description to keith@swanview.org and we'll try to work them into these weekly reports!
