Eight Swan Rangers skied to Peterson Creek and beyond on a Leap-Day Saturday, 2020!
The snow was pretty crunchy on the way in, but a little softer on the way back!

The Rangers weren't all that enthused about the ski conditions, until . . .
. . . they remembered it was Leap-Day!
After Bear Creek, it's pretty smooth sailing . . .
. . . except for the occasional pothole!
The Rangers not only got a peek at Peterson Creek . . .
. . . they saw a little blue sky headed their way!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
When recreating in bear country, remember to carry bear spray and avoid the 3-D's: dawn, dusk, and darkness.
