Fourteen Swan Rangers skied the Peters Ridge Road on a foggy Saturday, January 14, 2017!

When its cold enough, fog forms hoar frost on most things stationary . . .
. . . but it dampens the views of the Flathead Valley . . .
. . . the Swan Crest . . .
. . . and the Rangers themselves!
The Rangers chose a little clear pocket in the fog to turn around for the day!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
