Seven Swan Rangers skied the Chateau de Swan Vieaux on a blustery Saturday morning turned sunny, March 1, 2014!
They ignored Cafe waitress' warnings, plunged headlong into "Winter Storm 2014," and survived!
An invite to the exclusive Chateau de Swan Vieaux was just the ticket for what started out as a grim looking day!
A Flathead County escort to the Echo Lake Cafe - a good start . . .
. . . but remember to pass snow drifts only on a dotted center line!
Rangers visit the Chateau de Swan Vieaux, but choose not to go inside to warm up!
The Chateau's ski trails offer inspiring views of the Swan Range, including Peters Ridge . . .
. . . and Mount Aeneas!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
