Swan Rangers See Snow, Geese, Snow Geese!

Swan Rangers saw fresh snow, geese and snow geese, among other things, during their outings this past week!

In our lead photo, Keith Hammer shows us Swans flying in a virga-draped March sky and . . .

. . . a shot of rising Snow geese before getting all their "ducks in a row!"

Ditto.

Ruth Quist found a pair of Mallard ducks that are always in a row while . . .

. . . Pat Jaquith found a pair of Barrow's goldeneye in a similar situation.

Pat then flashes us back to Costa Rica with a photo of a Turquoise-browed motmot and . . .

. . . a Russet-naped woodrail!

Pam Willison brings us back to Montana with photos of a Meadowlark and . . .

. . . a Red-tailed hawk!

Christin Rzasa sent in this photo of Bitterroots greening up in none other than the Bitterroot Valley.

But Chris Gotschalk reminds us there is still skiable snow high up on the Swan Crest, if you don't mind the difficult slog to get up there!
