Pop Goes the Weasel!
The weasel often takes over the den of an animal it has killed and
eaten, like mice, ground squirrels, chipmunks, and pocket gophers.
Weasels are mostly brown during summer to help them hide in the rocks
and woods, but turn white in winter to hide in the snow. White
weasels are sometimes called ermine.
