Our family has spent the last 35 years hiking, skiing & hunting in the Swan Range. When our son Kyle was 4 he started hiking, skiing and winter camping with us, often times in Jewell Basin. Whether we have a half a day or several days – we know we can get away quickly from town and have a wonderful, peaceful experience.  Please join us in helping to retain the full mountain experience!!

We frequently hike the northern Swan Range and Historic Alpine Trail #7. The Swans are close to town and make it easy to get in the mountains to enjoy Nature and a bit of solitude.  Iąd recommend Inspiration Point and Trinkus Lake hikes to anyone willing to use their own God-given legs and lungs. Motorcycles donąt belong on Swan Mountain trails.  We encountered a group of motorcycles on Six Mile Mountain trail.   They were going so fast they ran four of us off the trail.  Give us back the quiet trails!
