MILEPOST 18 - Bond and Trinkus Lakes

Bond Lake

Bond and Trinkus Lakes are popular destinations for day hikes and horseback rides from the Bond Creek Trail #21 trailhead along Highway 83 near the village of Swan Lake. Travelers are also treated to close-up views of Bond Falls along the way. These two relatively small lakes are tucked in a forest of subalpine fir and Englemann spruce, about a mile away from each other. On a hot summer day, they offer a refreshing place to swim!
