Swan Rangers Stick Heads in Clouds!

Some Swan Rangers stuck their heads up into the clouds during their outings this past week!

A few Swan Rangers hiked up into the clouds to help Flathead Audubon count migrating raptors along the Swan Crest, as shown in our lead photo by Keith Hammer.

 

On his way back down from "Hawk Watch," Keith found this Clark's nutcracker prying seeds out of a Whitebark pine cone and . . .

 

. . . stashing them in the pouch under its tongue before flying off to bury them for later eating!
