While the Swan Ranger Saturday group outings remain suspended until further notice due to the coronavirus pandemic, we will get a report out each week with items of interest to folks trying to get outside for some "social distancing" and spirit-calming fresh air.

Debra Schweitzer walked along the Swan River near Bigfork and sent in our lead photo!

Keith Hammer walked there too and looked hard to see the first wildflowers but . . .

. . . grass greening up alongside warming rocks was the best he could find!

Pat Jaquith rode to the rescue with this photo of a sagebrush buttercup flower!

Keith Hammer and lots of folks have been keeping an eye on all the swans, geese and ducks gathered at an old oxbow in the Flathead River known as Church Slough.

Norma Linsky hiked to the old ranger station in Glacier National Park via Quarter Circle Bridge, where she took this photo of the confluence of McDonald Creek and the Flathead River.

Norma also reported there is a bit of blowdown across the trail, not that it stopped her and her friends!
