Fourteen Swan Rangers split into two groups, with half snowshoeing in Krause Basin and half skiing the Foothills Ski Area, on a partly sunny Saturday, February 11, 2017!

Snowshoes were the choice for breaking open ski trails long-buried by recent snow storms ending in a rain-freeze crust, with the "grooming" crew getting as far as "the north fork/south fork junction!"

The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.

They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.

Everyone is welcome!
