Trees hang full of snow along Peters Ridge Road! (Keith Hammer photos)
Fourteen Swan Rangers skied the Peters Ridge Road on a sun-through-cloud Saturday, January 16, 2016!
Though a bit humid and sticky on the way up, it was a nice glide coming down if you had glide wax!

Don't let Bubba's pickup ruts deter you at the start. He only made it a few hundred yards!
Then it's smooth sailing in a winter wonderland!
And enough to put a smile on your face!
This spring nurtures lady slipper orchids in summer, but they must have gone south for the winter!
An old homestead at the start of the road.
A view of Spider Bowl and Infinity Ridge from the turn-around point!
A wonderful combination of cloud, sun and snow!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
Everyone is welcome!
