Thirteen Swan Rangers skied the Foothills Ski Area and a couple more skied Krause Basin on Saturday, January 10, 2015!
Parking is limited along Foothill Road since the last snow storm, so carpool up!

The ski area's numerous loops are well marked . . .
. . . and the grooming provides for skate skiing, "classic" grooves on one side . . .
. . . and enough room for conscientious snowshoers along the opposite edge!
The bridge over Noisy Creek is always a nice spot to pause!
The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.
They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.
