Swainson's thrush mother and young by Pam Willison!
Swan Rangers continue to see beauty all around during the week ending Saturday July 24, in spite of smokey skies!
Click here or scroll down for the Rangers' photos and details!
While it is quite a treat just to see a secretive Swainson's thrush, Pam got a photograph of a mother and baby on her orchard fence, above!
Keith Hammer liked the look of Cottonwood Bottom in the early morning, smoke-haze light!
Nearby he found wild Hollyhock . . .
. . . Devil's club whose seeds have formed but not yet turned red . . .
. . . and a Pinedrop nestled among ferns!
Pat Jaquith sent in this nice photo of Rattlesnake fern . . .
. . . and this close-up of Stachys palustris!
Dee Blank treats us to photos of wildflowers in Jewel Basin, including . . .
. . . this one she suspects of being a Willowherb!
Ruth Quist sent in this photo of Blanket flower . . .
. . . and allows us to ride off into a sunset at Freezout Lake!
A big THANKS to all of you sending in your photos for our weekly reports!
