Swan Rangers Revisit Blacktail Trails!

Looking down the power line corridor toward Flathead Lake and the Swan Range! (Norma Linsky photos)

Six Swan Rangers again skied the Blacktail X-country ski trails on a threatening-sky Saturday, April 6, 2019!

They skied the "power line" route in what may be their last ski of the season, but didn't get rained on!

All smiles and lots of room to roam!

Determined to give those skis one more workout for the season!

Flathead Lake continues to thaw off, with just a little ice left along the north shore!

Is this sign a hint to maybe think about turning around?

The Swan Rangers meet every Saturday at the Echo Lake Cafe for breakfast at 8:30, leaving at 9:30 for a partial day outing in the northern Swan Mountains and foothills.

They carpool from the Swan River School parking lot next to the Cafe.

When hiking in bear country, remember to carry bear spray and avoid the 3-D's: dawn, dusk, and darkness.

Everyone is welcome!
