Craig Hunnicut sent in this photo from his October 3 hike along the Flattop Mountain Trail in Glacier NP. Compare this to . . .
. . . Norma Linsky's photo of her shortened October 15 hike up Standard Peak, where she turned around due to 18" of snow and no gaiters!
Norma wasn't without her bright "hunting season" hiking gear during her hike with Mary from Bear Creek to Wolf Creek!
Keith and Pam hiked to the overlook on Phillips Trail, where Keith took our lead photo of Flathead Lake and these claw marks where a bear had climbed a Ponderosa pine tree!
They also hiked up Peters Ridge Road and took photos of winter moving in on Strawberry Mountain and . . .
. . . Spider Bowl.
They also saw some interesting layers of clouds and fog!
