Swan Rangers Dither on Old-New, Big-Small!

Glacier Park view by Norma Linsky!

Swan Rangers experienced old and new snow, as well as big and small critters during their outings this past week!

Click here or scroll down for the Rangers' photos and details!

In our lead photo, Norma Linsky found some old snow from last winter in Glacier National Park, as did . . .

. . . Dee Blank, though her snow and ice appear to go back many winters!

Debra Schweitzer ran into some fresh snow on her hike to . . .

. . . the Chinese Wall!

Similarly, Pat Jaquith ran into fresh snow on her hike to . . .

. . . the top of the Swan Crest!

Norma Linsky said this mega-fauna came by while she was eating her peanut butter sandwhich but was fortunately more interested in turning over rocks to look for ants to eat!

Skip Via chose to stick with mini-fauna in his photo of a Dingy cutworm moth, as did . . .

. . . Keith Hammer in his photo of a butterfly on Alfalfa, which he nicknamed Butterfalfa . . .

. . . a bee on an Aster . . .

. . . a Dragonfly on grass . . .

. . . and sunlight on Purple clover.

In our parting shot, Dani Mayberry reminds us with this trail-cam shot that if the bears don't steal the pet food off your porch, the coyotes just might! Remember to keep our yards free of wildlife attractants!
